QUICK START INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR STROBOPLUS HD™

PLEASE READ!

Your StroboPlus HD™ is firmware upgradable so it is VERY

IMPORTANT that you register this product on our PetersonConnect™

website which will then check for firmware updates and install them for

you. Please go to www.PetersonTuners.com/connect and plug your

StroboPlus into your computer using the supplied USB cable. The

website will instruct you how to register and update.

To turn your StroboPlus on and off, press and hold the power button for two seconds. It will start in

the StroboTuner mode ready for you to begin tuning to equal temperament.

If you want to change to Audio Mode, press the mode button until you see strobe patterns only on the

far left and far right side. To hear the pitch, press the start button.

To charge the Lithium-Ion battery, plug your StroboPlus into the USB connection of any computer or

common USB 5 Volt charger of the type used by many phones and other devices.

The StroboPlus display features two strobe bands. Underneath the strobe screen, the note name is

displayed as a large letter along with the octave from which it is derived, which is displayed as a number.

To tune, carefully adjust the tuning of your instrument until the display appears stopped or “caged“. If

the note you are tuning is too sharp, the bars will drift to the right; if flat, they will move to the left.
